FortisBC – Join us on Thursday Morning or Evening to Discuss the Tentative Agreement

The tentative agreement we reached with your employer is now ready to be voted on. Your committee unanimously recommends that you vote YES on this agreement.

Please find your Memorandum of Agreement here. Note that this memorandum  includes working copies of proposals that have some residual edits, with new language underlined and language to be removed struck through. Any words that are struck through will not be in the new collective agreement. Words that are both underlined and struck through were not previously in the collective agreement; they were proposed by either the union or the company during these negotiations, and then later removed by counterproposal.

In order to add more opportunities for your to participate, we will be holding two separate meetings to review the tentative agreement with you. There will be one meeting in the morning and one meeting in the evening.

To attend, please register for ONE (1) of the two (2) following sessions:

Ratification Vote – How you vote:

To vote, simply log in to the member portal and you will see the option to vote on the screen. If you are having difficulty signing in to the member portal, please email membership@moveuptogether.ca. If you haven’t already registered for your account, you will need your membership number and home email address and then click here.  If you do not know your membership number, please go to moveuptogether.ca/membernumber and complete the online form and you will be contacted within one business day.

VOTE OPENS: Thursday, September 26, 2024 at 8 p.m.

VOTE CLOSES: Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 3 p.m.
