Victoria Bug Zoo – Consent Award Received – Collective Agreement Now Active

To: All MoveUP members at Victoria Bug Zoo
Please be advised that we have received the Consent Award from Arbitrator Somjen (attached here). Arbitrator Somjen has found that that the terms of the first collective agreement meet the requirements of the Code and reflect the agreement of both parties.
Therefore, the Collective Agreement is now binding between the Parties and retroactive to July 15, 2024.
Congratulations, this agreement is only possible because of the rock solid solidarity each of you demonstrated to let the employer know that you expect equality, respect and a fair deal.
