Vancouver Shipyards – Strike Vote Meeting – Notice of Poll

To: All MoveUP members at Vancouver Shipyards
Further the bulletin issued on July 2, 2024, your union will be hosting a virtual meeting as well for anyone who may be working or unable to attend the in-person meeting on Saturday, July 13.
Details for the virtual meeting are as follows:
Date: Thursday, July 11, 2024
Time: 3:00pm to 4:00pm
Place: Zoom Meeting (link will be sent to your home email)
While we understand the convenience of attending a virtual meeting, we want to express the importance of attending the in-person meeting and encourage attendance. Details for the in-person meeting can be found here.
As a poly-party, the needs to all unionized employees should be considered in order to make an informed decision on this strike vote.
Electronic voting will be open as follows:
Voting Open: Friday, July 12 at 1:00pm
Voting Closed: Saturday, July 13 at 3:00pm
