Revision due to the incorrect spelling of one of the candidate names. Sincere apologies.
(EC area # 1619 are members employed at ICBC Burnaby Collison Repair Learning Centre, Claims Document Capture Facility and Burnaby Warehouse/Records Centre.)(EC #1619 is vacant).
Term Ending: April 30, 2026
In the recent by-election, the deadline for nomination forms to be received by the Returning Officer was Thursday, April 25, at 4:30 p.m. At that time, nomination forms to fill the above position were received from the following members:
- Mike Teng
- Jade Djurcic
An election by electronic ballot will be held for this vacant position.
Balloting will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, May 3,2024 at 8:30 a.m.
You can cast your vote by logging onto the Member Portal anytime from that date until the deadline, which is 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024.
HOW TO VOTE
In order to vote electronically, you must have previously logged onto the MoveUP Member Portal and activated your account using your membership ID number and a personal email address.
The Member Portal is a vital hub that gives you access to all the important tools you need as a MoveUP member. It is where you can find information on your membership including active cases or grievances, update your personal information, as well as where all electronic balloting is held for elections or for ratification votes.
If you have recently changed work locations, please ensure that this information is updated on your Member Portal account right away as the ballot will include candidates for EC areas from your last known work address. This will ensure your name is on the voter’s list.
Once you log into the Member Portal you will be directed to the option to vote on screen. This is a secure and confidential webpage, and no one will be able to access it but you.
If you are already registered and know your membership ID, you can log onto the Member Portal any time after voting begins up to the deadline to vote.

If you do not have access to a computer to vote and would prefer a paper ballot you must make your request by email to the Returning Officer no later than 4:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday December 6, 2023. Your ballot must be received in the MoveUP office by the voting deadline.
