PrairieCoast – Group Grievance Update #1

To: All MoveUP members at PrairieCoast
On July 26, 2023, your Union filed a grievance against your Employer for failing to implement the new wages agreed to at bargaining.
On August 22nd, the Parties met to discuss the grievance. The Union reiterated its position, that the collective agreement was ratified on June 23, 2023, and that the wages are now in effect.
Under the grievance process in Article 11 of the collective agreement, your Employer now has 15 days to provide a written response with their position. Once that is received or the deadline has passed, should your Union be dissatisfied with your Employer’s response, the Union may advance the grievance to Arbitration.
