Teaching Support Staff Union Picket Lines at the CSCU Corporate Office

To: All MoveUP members at CSCU
As you may have seen on the news, there is a labour dispute between the Teaching Support Staff Union (TSSU) and the Simon Fraser University. The TSSU advised us that they will set up picket line on the Surrey campus tomorrow, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.. The location is 13540 102nd Avenue in Surrey, across from the Surrey Central Skytrain station.
If you happen to encounter a picket line blocking your ability to get to work, please contact me immediately via email. You should also know that, in accordance with Article 16.03, refusing to cross a legal line in the performance of your duties shall not be a violation of this Agreement or cause for discharge. You will find additional information here.
We ask all of our members to show their solidarity and support to the striking TSSU members. Whether it is honking as you drive by or stopping to talk to those on the line, having the support of union brothers and sisters goes a long way. Thank you in advance for your time and support.
