PrairieCoast – Bargaining Update # 1

Your Bargaining Committee met with your employer on August 11^th and 12^th, 2022 to commence collective bargaining. During this meeting, your committee presented a comprehensive and respectful proposal package to your employer based on the requested improvements that were identified in the survey and membership meeting. Your employer did not table any proposals.

As is the normal process for bargaining, the parties have agreed to address non-monetary items before discussing monetary proposals.  There was some back and forth with your employer and we were able to make progress in discussing the proposals that we tabled. We will continue these discussions at our next session. The parties will be meeting again on August 25^th and 26^th, 2022 to continue bargaining.
