Rep Assignment Change, Common Employer and Telework Agreement Updates

To: All MoveUP members at FBC & FBC-CSC
As you have already been advised in our bulletin of May 3, 2022, your union representative, Cindy A. Lee, has been offered, and accepted, a one-year leave of absence to represent members out of USW2009. Congratulations Cindy! In her absence we will be assigning another union representative to serve our members at FortisBC and FortisBC-CSC. As of May 30, 2022, we welcome April Young as the union representative to replace Ms. Lee. During the transition time until May 30, 2022 we request that you reach out to your job stewards or the writer, if you have any questions or concerns. The common employer application is set to go to a hearing with the BC Labour Relations Board next week. Ms. Lee will be in attendance as a witness at the hearing. Updates as available to follow.
As the current Re-integration and Return to Work Telework agreement is set to expire on May 28, 2022, your union reached out to your employer and was advised that they would like to extend the agreement until the end of June. We will confirm this extension as soon as we receive written confirmation.
