COVID-19 Vaccinations – Bill 3 Passes Up to Three Hours of Paid Leave

We are writing to let you know that Bill 3 has recently passed, which amends the Employment Standards Act to provide for full-time and part-time employees with up to three hours of paid leave for each dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

This comes at a time where more and more British Columbians are getting the ability to get their COVID-19 vaccination.  The BC Government has identified that this paid leave is in effect retroactive to April 19, 2021.
