Job Steward Seminar Update

To: MoveUP Job Stewards
Dear Job Steward Seminar attendees,
For the safety of all those involved and to stay in compliance with the orders of the Public Health Officer, we have sadly decided to cancel our 2021 Job Steward Seminar.
As 2021 will be a convention year for MoveUP, will be placing the stewards seminar on hold until March 2022. As you have already registered, you will be given first consideration to attend. With the pandemic continuing and now the threat of variant strains, holding the seminar will be dependent on the Public Health authority’s guidelines in place at that time. Please save March 4-6, 2022 in your calendars to ensure your schedules will still allow you to join us.
The Education Committee wishes to thank everyone for your continued understanding and patience as we weighed all the factors before coming to this decision, which we felt was in the best interest of our members and staff’s health and safety.
Our committee is committed to providing our members and stewards with new and interesting evening webinar sessions throughout the remainder of the year, please watch your email for bulletins. We are also open to the suggestion of new courses, should you have ideas please reach out to your unit vice-president.
