**REMINDER** BCGEU – Request for Home Email Addresses
December 9, 2020
To: All MoveUP Members at BCGEU
We have discovered many personal home email addresses in your unit are not accurate. In our investigation of the issue we learned that there are possible spelling mistakes and other data entry errors from our side. We would like to express our apologies for the errors and promise we will fix the issue the best and fastest way that we can.
We would like to ask you all to help us along with the process by contacting our membership department at membership@moveuptogether.ca or via the member portal link on our MoveUP website. We have spoken with the membership team and they will be expecting your emails and are ready to assist you.
As we are heading into bargaining, there is an urgent need to have access to each member’s personal home email address. Our bargaining updates and other relevant information will only be shared through these emails, as we do not use any employer’s email service to relay the important and confidential information we will need to share with all of you.
We will send a bulletin with updates and more information to clarify to your home emails once they are updated. I urge you all to contact membership as soon as you are able.
