| Your Bargaining Committee is pleased to confirm that the Parties have agreed to terms for a new Collective Agreement. Given the uncertainties many have faced during this pandemic, the Parties agreed to a shorter term, and will negotiate a new Collective Agreement in the fall of 2021. Nonetheless, we were able to make several improvements in this two year deal. Highlights of the new Agreement: 
Two year term – January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021Wage increases as follows:January 1, 2020 – 1% (retroactive)July 1, 2020 – 1% (retroactive)January 1, 2021 – 2%Leave for medical/dental appointments increased from 12 hours to 18 hours per year.Gender Transition LeaveDomestic or Sexual Violence LeaveCompassionate Care LeaveIncrease to vision care to $600/24 months.Increase in Life Insurance to $70,000Increase in severance for automation reasons to a maximum of 32 weeks.
