CCCU Bargaining Update #4
May 4, 2020
To: MoveUP Members at Coastal Community Credit Union
We are now five months since we started collective bargaining. At this point, we know you are all anxious for a settlement. Your bargaining committee has remained committed to reaching a fair and reasonable renewal of our collective agreement, given the unprecedented time we are facing with the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the last round of online bargaining on April 30 and May 1, 2020, we discussed a number of housekeeping items and update areas that are covered by specific legislation. Your bargaining committee also signed off on several non-monetary proposals. We are now at a critical point in our negotiations. In the next week or so, we will coordinate an online webinar with members to discuss issues and concerns related to the ongoing bargaining with the employer. We will be returning back to online bargaining shortly after the webinar.
In hope of delivering bargaining updates to you, we ask you to ensure your personal email is up to date on our Member Portal. Please feel free to reach out to your bargaining committee if you have any questions. We appreciate everyone’s patience as we all navigate this new normal.
