ICBC – Union Representative Change

Please join me in welcoming Cathy Hirani as the new union representative for ICBC. This change will take place effective immediately.

As part of our ongoing commitment to all our members across our union, we frequently review the needs of our bargaining units and adjust our union representative assignments accordingly. This allows us to maintain an optimal level of engagement with our members while best utilizing our union representatives so we can strengthen our approach particularly during campaigns or bargaining.

I would like to thank Kelly Quinn for her outstanding work with this group.

Our job stewards are our members’ first point of contact whenever they need to discuss a workplace issue. The union representative is there to support our job stewards on issues that are more complex and require escalation.
