Tentative Agreement Reached with BC Federation of Labour

Your bargaining committee is pleased to announce that we have reached a tentative collective agreement with your employer, BC Federation of Labour.

Some highlights of the tentative agreement include:

  • 3 year agreement, 2% wage increase in each year
  • Signing bonuses based on category classification
  • $400.00 Professional Development allowance for all employees
  • Gender Reassignment Leave
  • Domestic Violence Leave
  • Employer-paid Doctor’s Notes
  • Increased Holidays (Christmas Eve, National Indigenous Peoples Day)
  • Creation of new Category 6, Accountant
  • Employer-paid CPA dues and education requirements for Accountants

Your bargaining committee is strongly recommending ratification of the tentative collective agreement.

We will be holding a meeting on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 in order to review the tentative agreement with you. This will also be your opportunity to vote on the tentative agreement. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot. Please make every effort to attend.
