Cascades Casino Langley – Ratification Vote
To: All MoveUP members at Cascades Casino Langley
Your bargaining committee is pleased to advise that the parties have reached a tentative agreement following three intense months of bargaining. Highlights of the tentative agreement include:
- 4 year term (Effective date of ratification)
- 3% wage increase effective date of ratification
- 2% wage increase in each of the following 3 years
- Hours of work/scheduling security
- Successorship language
- Sick leave improvements
- Comprehensive discrimination & harassment language
- Picket Protection
- Grievance procedure
- Plus many more rights and benefits
Your bargaining committee is recommending acceptance of this tentative agreement.
We will be conducting a ratification vote meeting on March 15th at the casino. In attendance will be your bargaining committee. You will be able to review the complete tentative agreement in more detail at that time and ask any questions you have of the committee. The vote will be conducted by secret ballot. Please make every effort to attend.
