Insurance Product Changes at ICBC

To: All ICBC MoveUP Members
ICBC is making some big changes to how rates are determined for drivers. Gone will be the days that premiums are attached to the vehicle plate and what will be coming is rates based on drivers. New discounts, higher penalty premiums, new ways to calculate premiums: these are significant changes to the way ICBC has done business in the past.
First and foremost, we have been assured by ICBC that there will not be any job losses due to these changes. This is our main concern for you, the employees who will be implementing these changes. We know that big changes like these can be stressful for the front line workers who have to understand and implement them. Please be sure you are taking care of yourself. Your Employee and Family Assistance Program (1-866-644-0326) is available and we encourage folks to take advantage of these services to maintain your mental strength and health.
