Coast Mountain Bus – United Way Campaign
September 29, 2017
To: All MoveUP Members at CMBC
MoveUP is proud to partner with the United Way of the Lower Mainland (UWLM) and several of our employers, including CMBC, for the annual workplace giving campaign. The UWLM’s work helps make our communities stronger by helping kids to thrive at school, getting low-income people healthy, nutritious food, and reducing seniors’ isolation. We’ve worked with the UWLM for several years and we’re looking forward to another successful campaign.
This is where you come in.
We’re looking for volunteers to help us with this year’s United Way campaign. It’s a great opportunity for you to build skills, engage with your colleagues in different parts of the organization and make a real difference in your community.
Volunteers will be required to attend a training session Thursday, October 12th at 1:00 pm and the employer will allow the time off of work to attend the training.
The campaign will run from October 16th – 29th.
If you’re interested, please respond to the email address agallo@moveuptogether.ca by Friday, October 6th. There’s not much time so please reply ASAP.
Please note we’re looking for volunteers in all areas to canvass their respective locations. So grab a buddy and make it a team effort! Multiple canvassers per location are encouraged.
In Solidarity,
Alicia Gallo, Vice-President of Combined Units
