Statement from MoveUP on the tragedy in Tumbler Ridge, BC

MoveUP stands with the community in Tumbler Ridge, BC, to mourn the loss of multiple lives and offer our sympathy to those injured following a senseless act of violence on Tuesday, February 10.

People across BC and Canada are shocked and deeply saddened by this horrible news. Gun violence has no place in our society.

Our condolences go out to the students, families, and the community of Tumbler Ridge as they continue to deal with the aftermath of this attack.

We extend our gratitude to the Tumbler Ridge School staff, health care workers, and first responders for acting with speed and compassion that resulted in saved lives.
