MoveUP Summer Colouring Contest with an environmental twist

Our popular MoveUP colouring contest is returning with an environmental twist.

Our Events & Social Planning Committee and our Environment Committee are teaming up to present our summer colouring contest to mark World Chimpanzee Day, Shark Awareness Day, and World Orca Day which all fall on Monday, July 14.

How it works

Print off one of our colouring book sheets and colour it in, or submit your own unique drawing/painting/colouring of an orca, chimpanzee, or shark.

We also want you to share a conservation fact about at least one of the animals. Start your research by clicking one of the links above, or visit your local library!

Make your submissions using the form at the bottom of this page. This contest is open to MoveUP members and the children in their lives of all ages!

Contest winners

We will be selecting five random draw winners who will each win a $50 gift card to a local garden shop/nursery of their choosing, plus a $50 donation made in their name to an animal conservation day of their choosing.

It’s $50 for you and $50 for the planet!

All entries (colouring/drawing + one animal conservation fact) received will earn one entry to the draw. You will receive an additional entry for each additional animal conservation fact that you share with us (limit two additional entries, one per unique animal fact). For example, if you submit your colouring and you share a fact about orcas, chimpanzees, and sharks with us, you will receive a total of three entries into our draw!

If you have any barriers to accessing this contest, please email Alycia at alyguile@gmail.com.

Contest closes on Monday, July 21, and winners will be announced in our Weekly E-newsletter on Thursday, July 24.
