Youth Action Committee: Important April Dates

To: MoveUP Young Workers in the Lower Mainland
Dear sisters and brothers,
April is a busy month for MoveUP youth members.
This weekend youth members are being encouraged to join us on Saturday, April 14 in support of Grant’s Law. The sit-in raises awareness of the need for better protection for late night workers. MoveUP Youth Action Committee members will be there, and we hope you can join us.
Date/Time: Saturday, April 14 at 8:00 p.m.
Location: Mac’s Convenience Store, 2601 Commercial Drive, Vancouver

On Saturday, April 28 the committee members will be joining the New Westminster and District Labour Council at Westminster Pier Park for the annual Day of Mourning. Join us as we remember those who are killed or injured on the job. For more details see the attached poster.

Location: Westminster Pier Park, New Westminster
We are also planning another evening of games and pizza sometime in late April – watch for details soon.
