Women and Gender Rights Week of Activism

We are once again excited to be able to provide our Women and Gender Rights Committee members with an in-person week filled with activism, education and bonding!
When: Monday October 5-9, 2026
Where: MoveUP office
DEADLINE TO APPLY- Monday September 14, 2026
As decided by the committee our focus for this week will be around women’s social justice and leadership! We have been busy behind the scenes sourcing guest speakers and workshops and in the finalizing stages of what will be a great week together.
We have established a budget to bring 20 committee members in for the week, with travel allowances provided. For those who are interested and available to attend the full week please submit a short few paragraphs letting us know why you would like to attend and how you feel you will be able to bring your learning and experience back to your advocacy and workplace. We will make every effort to include everyone interested however we will be looking at past attendance of events or opportunities of committee members in effort to provide equal experiences to all.
For committee members requiring travel please respond ASAP so we can begin your travel arrangements.
We will send email requesting dietary restrictions and other needs to selected participants closer to the date so we can ensure we offer a week that is inclusive for all.
