Westland Insurance Group acquires First West Insurance Services

To: MoveUP Members at Island Savings Credit Union - Insurance
Your union has been notified by Island Savings (First West Credit Union) that Westland Insurance Group Ltd. will acquire First West Insurance Services effective September 30, 2019.
Please be advised that all provisions of the Collective Agreement shall remain in full force and effect while transitioning from First West Credit Union to Westland Insurance Group Ltd.
Over the next few weeks your union will be meeting with the employer to discuss details of this transaction and will provide updates to the membership as they become available.
