Volunteers needed for Labour Day event in Esquimalt!

We need your help on Labour Day!
Looking for a fun way to spend Labour Day that lets you connect with other MoveUP members and the local labour community? On Monday, September 7, volunteer at our MoveUP booth at the Labour Day Picnic! The event takes place at Memorial Park in Esquimalt and is hosted by the Victoria Labour Council (VLC).
Have fun representing MoveUP and connecting with labour activists, community partners, and workers and their families from across the Victoria area. We need volunteers starting at 10 a.m. for set-up, until the end of the event at approximately 2 p.m. Volunteers will get a free lunch!
Date: Monday, September 7
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Location: Memorial Park (1200 Esquimalt Rd., Esquimalt)
Lunch included!

Volunteers are also welcome to invite their family and friends to enjoy this free and fun celebration, while honouring the legacy of and power of workers. We hope to see you there!
