Victoria Shipyards – Labour Board Order Regarding Picketing of PSAC

To: All MoveUP members at Victoria Shipyards
On April 21st, the B.C. Labour Relations Board issued an Order regarding picketing of PSAC. The Order requires members to “immediately cease and desist from refusing to cross the picket line of the Public Service Alliance of Canada (“PSAC”) in order to attend work” at the Esquimalt Graving Dock. The Order also allows for continued picketing by PSAC.
We continue to stand in solidarity with PSAC members and their fight for a fair contract. We also understand that at present, picketing has stopped. However, in the event you do encounter a PSAC picket at Esquimalt Graving Dock, please comply with the Order of the Labour Relations Board. If you have any questions, please contact your job steward or the MoveUP offices.
