TST-CF – Missing payment and steps to request a payment advance

To: All MoveUP members at TST-CF
We were recently made aware some MoveUP members only received a partial payment (one week) on January 20 due to your employer’s migration to a new payroll schedule, with your next pay cycle schedule for February 3.
We have discussed with your employer’s human resources department and expressed our concern about the lack of notice for our members. As a result, they will consider payroll advance requests for any member who requires one due to an immediate expense need. Payroll advances are not guaranteed, but will be considered and approved by Payroll on a case by case basis.
If you are approved for an advance, it will be deducted from your upcoming payment on February 3. All requests will be reviewed by the employer on a case-by-case basis and the final decision to approve it will remain with them.
Moving forward, your payroll will continue to be processed biweekly. Your next pay date is February 3, which will cover the pay period from January 16 to January 29.
