TransLink – Retroactive Pay

To: All MoveUP members at TransLink
I hope this message finds you well. I want to personally thank each of you for all the hard work and dedication you have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic. You have all played an integral part in keeping the transit system operational during the ongoing COVID crisis. Now with the vaccine roll-out ramping up, we are hopeful that things may get back to some degree of normal by fall of this year.
We sincerely appreciate everyone’s patience with respect to the retroactive payment of wages for the new TransLink collective agreement. The employer’s efforts were hampered and slowed by the IT attack on the IT systems which affected payroll. Your bargaining committee is happy to report that retroactive pay will be paid on the current pay period and employees will receive the payment on Friday, March 26, 2021. If you have any questions please feel to reach out to members of the bargaining committee or myself.
