Transit JS Meetings Schedule for 2024

To: All MoveUP JS/EC at BC Transit, Coast Mountain Bus & TransLink
The Job Steward and Executive Councillors meetings for 2023 have been scheduled for the following dates:
- January 16, 2024
- February 15, 2024
- March 13, 2024 (all day meeting in office)
- April 16, 2024
- May 15, 2024
- June 13, 2024 (all day meeting in office)
- September 17, 2024
- October 16, 2024
- November 13, 2024
- December 6, 2024 (all day meeting in office)
All meetings will be held via zoom but we are looking at having some of the meetings in a hybrid format. MoveUP is currently working on ensuring that we have the necessary technology to make that happen. Our reasoning behind moving to a hybrid format is that some prefer to attend online rather than in person. We want to be ensuring that we are making efforts to allow for maximum participation.
You will receive a reminder notice each month. Please try to advise Lisa as soon as possible regarding your attendance so that appropriate arrangements can be made for any leaves of absence or other relevant details. As you are all aware, there have been issues with leaves and we want to ensure that we are being as proactive as possible in terms of notice to the employers.
Please advise if there are any questions or concerns arising from the above.
