MoveUP will be hosting a remote Workers of Colour Caucus on Thursday February 5, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The purpose of the Caucus is to provide a safe and welcoming space for all self-identified members of colour for an evening of meaningful discussion to create a more just and equitable union and workplaces. The caucus strives to embrace the ever-changing demographic of MoveUP through organizing, educating and empowering workers of colour to fully participate within our union.
Amarys Joseph, a MoveUP member from Vancouver Community College Faculty Association, will be facilitating the evening.
