Reminder: Please complete the BC government’s paid sick leave consultation survey by September 14

We would like to remind all our members in BC who have not yet had an opportunity to fill out the BC government’s paid sick leave consultation to do so before the deadline of September 14 at 4 p.m. Please take five minutes to complete the survey by clicking here.
The BC government has established a timeline to bring in permanent paid sick leave in 2022 that will protect all workers in BC, but it is critical for them to hear directly from workers in this province about why this is important and what it should look like.
MoveUP, along with our partners across BC’s labour movement, have been pushing for a minimum of 10 paid sick days that are employer-funded.
Thank you for taking part in this opportunity to shape this important government policy to keep people safe.
