REMINDER: New Westminster school board by-election is this Saturday, February 3

To: MoveUP Members in New Westminster

A reminder to all our members living in New Westminster that the New Westminster school board by-election takes place this Saturday, February 3. You can also vote today (January 31) between 8 a.m to 8 p.m. at City Hall, Council Chamber (511 Royal Ave.)

The New Westminster & District Labour Council has endorsed Jalen Bachra for school board trustee in the upcoming School District No. 40 by-election. Learn more about Jalen Bachra here.

On Saturday, you can vote between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Queen Elizabeth Elementary School, 921 Salter St.
  • Lord Tweedsmuir Elementary School, 1714 Eighth Ave.
  • Fraser River Middle School, 800 Queens Ave.
  • Glenbrook Middle School, 701 Park Cresc.
  • Skwo:wech Elementary School, 331 Richmond St.
