Recovery Benefits Coordinator elimination – November 27

To: All ICBC Recovery Benefit Coordinators
MoveUP has opened an email account to deal with all your concerns and questions as we proceed through this process of job displacement. We have received several questions from many of you mostly regarding work location. What we heard on Friday was the Employer stating that they were going to attempt not to relocate you as you move into the Claims Adjuster roles that they feel are a lateral transfer for you.
What is not clear is what happens if you apply on other positions and are successful. We cannot confirm for you at this point that you will retain your current location if you apply to other positions but we can certainly deal with each location issue on a case by case basis.
We are reviewing all the information we have received from the Employer regarding the new postings and encourage all of you to apply. MoveUP will do its best to ensure the Employer gives you every opportunity to be successful in the new positions.
