PowHERhouse Training: Your Path to Political Leadership

April 8, 2022

To: All self-identifying female and non-binary members

Have you ever considered running for political office or union leadership?

New Westminster and District Labour Council in partnership with PowHerhouse Impact Media Group, will be offering a second cohort of their course “Your Path to Political Leadership.” This first step program is geared towards building diversity to create a brighter future for self-identify female and non-binary advocates interested in making a difference within their communities and beyond.

The April 20th leadership cohort is fast approaching, NWDLC has asked for our support in recruiting folks to participate. They have dedicated the council to provide eight full scholarships for this 10-week program. There is an expectation that participants will need to do some self-guided work weekly, as well as attend four virtual meetings of the full cohort for those wondering about the time commitment needed.
