Powertech – Retroactive general wage increase

To: All MoveUP Members at Powertech
The new collective agreement has now been ratified by both parties. The negotiated general wage increases of 2% starting April 1, 2019 and 2% starting April 1, 2020 will paid out on the following two pay periods: May 15th and May 29th, 2020.
Powertech has advised the retroactive-pay will be done as follows:
May 15th: Apply new general wage increases and calculate regular retroactive-pay for current active employees. Re-calculate all promotions, Length of Service increases that occurred since April 1.
May 29th: Re-calculate all Overtime (OT) pay, temporary promotions, temporary promotion on OT pay, timebank payouts (AV, RWWL, Banked OT, retro for staff that terminated since April 1 (if applicable).
