Powertech – Gainsharing

To: All MoveUP members at Powertech
As per Memorandum of Understanding #55, the objective of the gainsharing program is to establish an incentive framework that will focus on specific performance objectives aligned to the success of the organization.
As per the language of the collective agreement, MoveUP has no control or input into what measures Powertech uses to pay out of the gainsharing program. The measures are at the sole discretion of employer.
Given the challenging year due to COVID-19 as well as the security breach that occurred at Powertech, the corporate multiplier targets were not met.
The employer acknowledged that these are exceptional circumstances and approached the union to allow for 0.5% to be paid out on a one-time basis. For your information we are enclosing a copy of the signed Letter of Understanding regarding the gainsharing 0.5% that was paid to our members.
