Orange Shirt lapel pin workshop and educational

With National COPE Convention happening in Vancouver in June 2022, the Canadian Equity Council (CEC) at COPE National have created Culture with COPE, a planned series of workshops and teachings to inspire, educate and further discover all aspects of many equity-seeking groups. They, along with facilitator Marissa Magneson, a Cree Métis artist, photographer, and educator are proud to sponsor the first online event which is a hands-on recreation of a symbolic reminder – an orange shirt. The workshop will take place on the following dates and times:
Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (EST)
Friday, February 25, 2022 from 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm (EST)
The first workshop will be presented in English with French translation and the second will be English only.
All materials needed to create this pin will be sent to each participant to their home address and at no charge to the COPE member. It is important, therefore, to provide us with your full mailing address on the attached registration form. The number of participants is limited and the deadline to register is Friday, February 11, 2022.
