Did you know that October is Healthy Workplace Month? Our union, through our Health & Safety Committee, works with employers to ensure that our members’ workplaces are positive environments that consider the mental and physical safety of workers every day.
We encourage our members to speak out when there is an occupational health & safety issue at their workplace that they want to bring to the committee’s attention, and we also provide resources on our website pertaining to health & safety as well as issues dealing with WorkSafeBC/WCB claims.
