Notice of By-Election – Nominations Open – Executive Councillor Area #1621

To: All ICBC members in EC Areas #1621 and #1622
EC Areas #1621 and #1622 represents members employed with ICBC working at the Cambie
Claim Center. One of these councillor positions is currently filled.
Term Ending: April 30, 2020
Due to the resignation of Maria Yue and in accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union.
