Notice of By-Election – Nomination Received – Executive Councillor #1657

To: All MoveUP Members at ICBC in Guildford Corporate Center
(EC #1651 to 1658 are at-large positions representing all members at ICBC in the Guildford Corporate Center. EC #1651 to 1656 are currently filled)
Term Ending: April 30, 2020
In accordance with the constitution, we are running a by-election for the above councillor position. Duties of the executive council are detailed in article 7.4 of the constitution.
As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union.
Kari-Lynn Bruce has submitted a nomination form for the above position. If there are no other nominations received by 4:30pm on Friday, May 11, 2018, Kari-Lynn Bruce will be declared the successful candidate.
