In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
The following member’s have submitted nomination forms for the above positions:

If there are no other nominations received by 4:30 p.m. PT on Friday, May 29, 2026, the listed members will be declared the successful candidates.
An instruction and nomination form are attached HERE.
To run for an executive councillor position, be a nominator for a candidate, or to vote for a candidate, you must be a member in good standing. In general, to be in good standing means that your union dues are up to date. Most members are up to date as your union dues are paid directly by your employer, but if you have taken a recent leave of absence (e.g. maternity, parental, long-term disability, etc.) then your dues may not have been covered during the time you were away. To check if you are in good standing, log on to your Member Portal account.
If you need further information, please email returningofficer@moveuptogether.ca or call the union office at 604-299-0378.
