As an executive councillor in your workplace, you are the spokesperson for your union. You are a vital link between the membership and the elected leadership. You, along with other job stewards, speak for your fellow members in the day to day relations between our union and management. In addition, you attend five executive council meetings a year where you can participate in the direction and decision making of your union. You can find more detailed information on your role in the Executive Councillor Handbook, which is available on the resources page for stewards and councillors of our website.
Charles Latimer, Greenpeace Canada, has submitted a nomination form for one of the vacant positions. If there is one additional nomination or less submitted by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021, Charles Latimer will be declared the successful candidate.
