Neighbourhood Housing Society – Vacant Bargaining Committee Position

To: All MoveUP members at Neighbourhood Housing Society
Due to the resignation of Manmeet Kaur from Neighbourhood Housing Society, there is now a vacant position on the bargaining committee.
In order to provide all employees, including those recently hired, an opportunity to serve on the committee, we are asking for volunteers for the vacant position. If you are interested in being on the bargaining committee, please send an email to ygarie@moveuptogether.ca before 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 12. If more than one member is interested, we will hold an election.
We have presented the employer with our initial proposal package and will be reviewing their responses this week. Our next scheduled bargaining date with the employer is on Friday, April 12, 2024. Due to the timing of this election and the bargaining dates already planned, if you are elected to serve on the bargaining committee, you will be attending all bargaining dates scheduled after April 12.
