The provincial election campaign is coming to a close on Tuesday. Every member has an important choice to make.

We have heard repeatedly from members that affordability and good jobs are your key issues in this election. The BC Liberals did nothing for years while housing affordability flew out of control, leaving many living in BC without reasonable options.

The current government has cut tens of thousands of good paying jobs over the past 16 years. Many communities across BC have been struck hard by these cuts, affecting the lives of your family members, your friends and your neighbours.

Having closely examined each of the election parties’ platforms, MoveUP believes the BC New Democratic Party (NDP) led by John Horgan is the one party that will help make life more affordable, will properly fund public services, and will grow the economy in ways that benefits everyone equally.

Among all the parties in this election, MoveUP sees the NDP valuing public services and Crown Corporations the most. A BC NDP government will work to preserve them, keeping the interests of both the residents who rely on their affordability, and the workers who deliver these services.

After 16 years, we have an opportunity to elect a government that will work for you. A government that will put your jobs, your families and your communities interests first. That’s why MoveUP endorses John Horgan and the NDP in the current BC election campaign.
