MoveUP Job Steward Level 1 Training – January 25-26, 2020
To: All Job Stewards, Executive Council and Executive Board members
Registration is now open for the next Job Steward Level 1 training for January 25-26, 2020.
This course is open to all job stewards, executive councillors and board members.
Dates:
Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Lunch provided)
Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
(Registrants must be in attendance for the whole course)

If you wish to attend, please register no later than Thursday, January 2, 2020. Previous classes have filled up quickly so register early. Late registrations may not be accepted.
MoveUP will provide travel arrangements as well as a leave of absence should you require them. If your employer needs more than three weeks’ notice for leave requests, please contact Joanne at the time of registration to ensure that the request is sent within the timelines of your specific collective agreement.

You will receive a confirmation letter to the email address provided no later than January 6, 2020 should you be accepted for this training. Please note that the cancellation deadline is 4:30 p.m. January 17, 2020. Cancellations after that date may result in registrants incurring cancellation costs for any travel that had been arranged.
A reminder that in order for you to attend the annual Job Steward Seminar in March you must have completed both Job Steward Training Level 1 and 2 courses in order to register.
