MoveUP Job Steward Level 1 Training

To: All MoveUP Job Stewards, Executive Councillors and Executive Board
MoveUP is offering level 1 training for all job stewards, executive councillors and executive board members who have not previously attended this course.
Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (lunch will be provided)
Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
All registrants are required to attend both days.

The deadline for registration is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 6, 2019.
Please register early to accommodate any leave of absence that you may require. If your employer requires more than three weeks’ notice for leave requests, please email firstname.lastname@example.org at the time of registration to ensure that the request is sent within the timelines of your specific collective agreement.
A reminder that the Job Steward level 2 training will be held on October 19 and 20, 2019. Registration for this course will open on Monday, August 19. In order to register for level 2 training you must have completed the Job Steward level 1 training or similar training specific to your bargaining unit. Contact us to confirm your previous MoveUP training.
If you plan to register for our annual Job Steward Seminar in March you must have completed both Job Steward level 1 and level 2 in order to attend.
Late registrations may not be accepted.
Confirmation letters and travel/accommodations (if applicable) will be emailed by Wednesday, September 11, 2019 to the address you provide on the registration form.
Please note cancellation deadline is 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019.
