MoveUP – Job Steward Level 1 Training

To: All MoveUP Job Stewards and Executive Councillors
Are you a relatively new job steward? Do you know a new job steward that works in your area that would like to receive some job steward training?
This course is open to all job stewards and executive councillors who have not previously attended this course or job steward training specific to your bargaining unit. All registrants are required to attend both days.
Date:
Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 9:30am to 5:00pm (lunch is provided)
Sunday, June 23, 2019 from 9:30am to 12:00pm
(This is a 1 ½ day course and you must attend both days)

If you wish to attend, please complete the online registration form. Registration will be limited to 25 members.
The deadline for registration is 4:30pm on Friday, May 24, 2019. Please register early to accommodate any leave of absence that you may require. If your employer requires more than 3 weeks’ notice for leave requests, please email ygarie@moveuptogether.ca at the time of registration to ensure that the request is sent within the timelines specified in your collective agreement.
Late registrations will not be accepted.
Confirmation letters and travel/accommodations (if applicable) will be emailed, by May 31, 2019, to the address you provide on the registration form.
Please note, the cancellation deadline is 4:30pm on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
