MoveUP endorses Ravi Parmar in upcoming Langford-Juan de Fuca by-election
June 1, 2023
To Members living in the Langford-Juan de Fuca provincial riding
From now and up to the final voting day on June 24, residents in Langford-Juan de Fuca will have the opportunity to have their voices heard and send another progressive voice to the BC Legislature.
MoveUP is proud to endorse Ravi Parmar, the BC NDP candidate, in the upcoming Langford-Juan de Fuca by-election. Ravi is a community champion who has spent been a part of the Langford community since immigrating with his parents to Canada in the 1990s. As Chair of the Sooke School Board, he has spent years working alongside former BC Premier John Horgan to deliver the largest expansion of public schools in the district’s history.
Ravi was the youngest school trustee in Canada when he was first elected at age 20 in 2014, and first became board chair in 2017. He currently works as a senior adviser to Jobs and Economic Development Minister Brenda Locke.
When advanced polls are open from June 16 to 21, and on general voting day on June 24, we hope we can count on your support for Ravi Parmar. You can also vote any time during office hours until 4 p.m. on election day at the District Electoral Office located at Belmont Market Shopping Centre (110-955 Reunion Avenue, Langford, BC).
