Make your plan to vote in the Abbotsford-Mission by-election
September 16, 2026
To: MoveUP Members living in the Abbotsford-Mission provincial riding
A provincial by-election will be held in the Abbotsford-Mission riding and MoveUP is proud to support BC NDP candidate Pam Alexis.
We encourage you to make your plan to vote early to avoid lineups.
Election day is Saturday, September 26 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Advance voting opportunities are available from September 18 to 23 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Visit Elections BC’s website for more information on where to vote and voter eligibility.
Pam Alexis previously represented this riding after being elected in 2020. She was also BC’s Minister of Agriculture and Food. Pam has been an integral part of her community both as a politician and as a private citizen.
She has served her community as a board member of the Mission Chamber of Commerce and the Mission Rotary Club and is also the former mayor of Mission in addition to having served as a school trustee and as a city councillor.
It is crucial for the health of the community and our province to elect a progressive, people-centred voice to BC legislature and to send a message that our communities deserve better than MAGA-style politics.
Pam’s love of community and strong belief in Canadian sovereignty stands in stark contract to the BC Conservative candidate who has surrounded herself with separatists and has proclaimed her support of the American president at a time when he is attacking Canadian values and actively attempting to hurt our economy and our workers.
We hope you will support Pam Alexis in this by-election.
In solidarity,
