Kruger – Bargaining Update # 1

To: All MoveUP members at Kruger
Further to our last bulletin dated July 12, 2021, advising that Noel Gulbransen has left MoveUP, I wanted to introduce myself as the union representative assigned to bargain your collective agreement.
Cheryle Jones and Selina Sullivan have been appointed to serve on your bargaining committee along with me, Union Representative Alina Teymory. Your bargaining committee met on August 13, 2021, to finalize drafting the union’s bargaining proposals.
Your bargaining committee is pleased to inform you that we have secured August 30, 2021 – September 3, 2021, as bargaining dates with the employer.
Your committee is eager to commence negotiations and we are looking forward to achieving a fair settlement for the membership.
We will provide an update after meeting with the employer.
