Kelowna Cabs – September 19th Holiday

As you have likely heard, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has heralded that Monday, September 19, the day of Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral, will be a federal holiday.

Premier John Horgan has also declared Monday, September 19, a day of remembrance this year to align with the federal decision to mark the Queen’s funeral with a holiday.

As confirmed in Premier Horgan’s statement on National Day of Mourning to mark the Queen’s funeral, we have confirmed with your employer that September 19^th will be treated as a one-time statutory holiday for employees.
